99.2 PER CENT ACCEPT SHARE REDEMPTION IN RATOS The notification period for shareholders who wished to accept the offer to redeem every tenth share for SEK 97 ended on 11 November 1998. According to the final total, 85,933 A shares and 8,871,245 B shares have been notified for redemption, thus 8,957,178 shares in total. This is equivalent to 99.2 per cent of the maximum number, i.e. 9.9 per cent of the total number of shares in Ratos. Payment is expected to be made through the agency of the Swedish Securities Register Centre, VPC, around 2 December 1998.
