New CEO for Camfil

New CEO for Camfil Alan O'Connell will succeed Jan Eric Larson as President and CEO of Camfil Farr on 1 September 2001. Alan O'Connell has been with Camfil Farr since 1985 and was previously Vice President Sales and Area Manager for Europe. "I see this as a very exciting challenge and I look forward to continuing work on the Group's growth and expansion without changing the company spirit," says Alan O'Connell. Jan Eric Larson will become Executive Chairman of the Board. Camfil holds a leading position within the global air filtration industry. The Group has its office in Trosa, Sweden, and is represented by subsidiaries and agents worldwide. Camfil's total annual sales amounted to SEK 2.3 billion in 2000 and has approximately 2,700 employees including 425 in Sweden. Profit before tax amounted to SEK 57m.
