Realfiction’s founders intend to increase their ownership in Realfiction Holding AB from 18.42% to 18.91%
Realfiction Holding AB (“Realfiction”) announces that CLAPE Holding ApS (“CLAPE”), owned by Realfiction’s founders CEO Clas Dyrholm and Head of R&D Peter Simonsen, is planning to increase its ownership in Realfiction from 18.42% to 18.91% by the end of 2020. CLAPE is aiming to sell a total of 150,000 shares (of which more than 95,000 were sold during the past couple of days), followed by purchasing 280,000 new shares by exercising warrants in Realfiction’s 2017 warrant program. After having completed both steps of the transaction, CLAPE will own approximately 3,005,000 shares in Realfiction.
The transaction reflects the founders' strong commitment to Realfiction and the development of its ECHO 3D display technology, while at the same time enabling them to free up some capital for personal commitments. Following the completion of this transaction, the founders see no need to further rebalancing their ownership in Realfiction in the foreseeable future.
“Peter Simonsen and I are truly excited about the future for Realfiction, including our groundbreaking ECHO technology. We have the publication of our international ECHO patent application confirmed for 17 September 2020 and look forward to this opportunity to share more information about ECHO with our shareholders. With that said, the timing of the first part of this transaction is far from ideal, but it is very hard for us as CEO and Head of R&D in a listed cutting edge technology company to find a window where such a transaction is permitted due to insider regulations,” says Realfiction’s CEO and founder Clas Dyrholm.
