Your views on mobile learning – The results are in!

Back in June we teamed up with Epic to get your views on mobile learning to celebrate our exciting partnership between GoMo and Redsource. The results are now in.

We asked you just a few simple questions, from whether mobile was already part of your learning strategy, to how it is supported and what barriers or challenges you have faced or think you may face when considering mobile.

Here are the highlights:

You want mobile – Only 1.3% of respondents said they had no plans for mobile, with the rest either having it already (40%) or planning to include it in the future (58.7%).

You are split on deployment – There is a pretty even split between those that choose BYOD over corporate owned devices to distribute learning. Alongside this, it is also fairly even when it comes to developing your own content, or commissioning it from an external source.

You care about analytics – We would say this was a given, only 2.7% of those surveyed said analytics didn’t matter to them, with the rest thinking they were a necessity or extremely important. 21.3% of you think analytics are a nice to have.

Why are we doing this report?

Strengthen your business case – If you are one of those 58% planning on implementing mobile learning, you can use this to draw on other people’s experiences of mobile to help build your case.

Because mobile matters – We are passionate about mobile learning and ever since it emerged, we have been at the front, developing and creating mobile learning technology.
