Restaurant James Sommerin Hosts the Launch of Relish Wales Second Helping

Michelin-Starred chef, James Sommerin opened the doors to his brand new restaurant days ahead of its official opening, to host the launch of Relish Publications latest offering, ‘Relish Wales Second Helping’. 

The award winning Relish Fine Dining Guides and Cookery Books are making an overdue and welcome return to Wales for a Second Helping. The new book features 25 of the leading restaurants from across the whole country including, Restaurant 1861 in Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Sosban in Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, Hanson at the Chelsea in Swansea and The Old Rectory Hotel in Llangattock, Powys.

All the restaurants featured gathered at the most exclusive of venues for the launch of the book, as Restaurant James Sommerin only formally launches to the public later this week.

James Sommerin was delighted to host the launch of the book. The multi-award-winning chef, who is a regular on TV, said: “We are very proud to launch Relish Wales at Restaurant James Sommerin.

“We worked around the clock to get the restaurant ready in time. We’re intending to showcase the best of Welsh cooking at our new restaurant in Penarth. It was a real honour to invite the best chefs from around the country to celebrate the launch of Relish Wales.”

Commenting on the new book, Duncan Peters from Relish Publications said: "We really enjoyed producing the very first Relish Wales book, and our second helping has been just as much of a joy. The high standard of all the restaurants and the really talented chefs that operate in Wales makes the country a food lovers’ delight. Relish Wales Second Helping went on sale on the 12th May 2014 from all the restaurants participating in the book, and also leading Waterstones stores and online via the Relish Publications website www.relishpublications.co.uk
