Relish Publications, the UK’s leading fine dining guide and recipe book publisher will be launching their latest recipe book ‘Relish Midlands Second Helping’ this summer. The best chefs from across the Midlands are being invited to feature in the latest new book that will celebrate the region’s unique cuisine.

The title is being published by Relish Publications and this is their second foray into the region, with Relish having a national portfolio of 20 fine dining guides and recipe books, and have worked with some of the biggest names in British food, including James Martin, The Hairy Bikers, Jean-Christophe Novelli and Michelin star holders like Tom Kitchin, Michael Caines and Birmingham’s Luke Tipping.

Duncan Peters, Managing Publisher at Relish Publications, said; ‘Relish Midlands Second Helping will feature the best restaurants and chefs from across the whole of the region. We published our first volume in the Midlands in 2012 with the foreword by Adreas Antona from Simpsons and it was extremely well received. We’re returning to this fantastic food destination and we want to hear from the best chefs now.’

Duncan Peters added; ‘These books will be available nationwide and will help shine the spotlight on the best food in the Midlands. We’ve worked with the best in the business, from chefs who hold two Michelin stars to those with international status and reputations and many well-known celebrity chefs and regulars on our TV screens. The Midlands has a proud and unique gastronomic reputation and there are numerous hot spots, from the heart of the UK’s second city Birmingham, to wonderful rural towns such as Ludlow.’

‘Relish Midlands Second Helping is about celebrating all corners of the region, from East to West and covering all locations in between. It promises to be a spectacular book and we’re signing chefs up now. We are only looking for the very best.”

Relish Publications has become the favourite fine dining guide and recipe book for high calibre chefs nationally, and with over 1500 chefs now having appeared in the 20+ editions of the publication. Relish Publications will at the end of April celebrate the launch of its 20th book at The Old Course at St Andrews, and now has books covering all areas of England, Scotland and Wales, and with a first venture planned into Ireland later this year.

Relish Publications are available at all the restaurants participating in the book, and also leading Waterstones stores, and online via Amazon and the Relish Publications website: www.relishpublications.co.uk.

Many of the participating restaurants organise their own celebratory and launch events for new books, with taster menu’s featuring recipes from the book. Relish Midlands Second Helping is now well underway, with leading chefs from across the region signing up to be part of this culinary delight, and the book will be in production and on sale in late Summer 2015.
