Report this content

As of March 1st 2003 Rottneros will raise list prices for short fibre CTMP pulp in Europe by 40 USD/tonne to 470 USD/tonne. The price for long fibre CTMP will raise by 30 USD to 430 USD/tonne. This is the second price increase this year. So far this year prices for all CTMP qualities were increased by 60-70 USD/tonne.

Like several other producers on the market Rottneros will also raise the price for the NBSK pulp quality from 480 USD/tonne to 520 USD/tonne in Europe.

Increased demand, especially for CTMP, in the beginning of this year has allowed for price raises.
