RUNE INGVARSSON PROPOSED AS CHAIRMAN OF ROTTNEROS
The Nominating Committee proposes that the Annual General Meeting on 24 April 2008 re-elect Per Eiritz, Johan Holmgren, Kjell Ormegard and Ingrid Westin Wallinder to the Board of Directors and that Rune Ingvarsson be appointed Chairman as successor to Bengt Nordin. The Committee also proposes that Roger Asserståhl be elected to the Board as a new member.
The Nominating Committee consists of Olle Grundberg, Nemus Holding AB, Torgny Prior, Prior & Nilsson and the Board Chairman Bengt Nordin.
Rune Ingvarsson, who was elected to Rottneros’ Board at the 2007 AGM, works as a consultant in the forestry industry. He has previously held senior positions in the forestry companies Norske Skog, APRIL and Aracruz.
Roger Asserståhl works as an independent consultant and has long experience from senior positions in the Swedish forestry industry. In addition to a position as Deputy CEO of AssiDomän, he has experience from various operational line positions in forestry, wood processing, purchasing, distribution and other areas. He has long experience of boardroom work as a Director and Chairman and currently sits on the boards of Bergvik Skog AB, Södra Timber AB and Invision Media Group, among others.
