Rovio strengthens its Board of Directors with Marimekko CEO Mika Ihamuotila
Espoo, Finland – May 5th 2013 — Rovio Entertainment Ltd announced today that Mika Ihamuotila, Ph.D., (economics) has joined Rovio’s Board of Directors as a Member of the Board and minority shareholder. He is currently President, CEO and principal shareholder of Marimekko Corporation – the Fashion and design company with over 100 stores in Asia, Europe and Americas. Previously he held President and CEO positions in the Bank sector of Sampo Bank Plc and Mandatum Bank Plc, where he also held a number of other leadership positions since 1994.

Mika Ihamuotila is a Member of the Board in Sanoma Corporation, one of the largest media and learning companies in Europe. Additionally, he has served as board member of several other companies, such as Elisa and Instrumentarium.
Rovio Entertainment’s Board of Directors consists of four members. Chairman Kaj Hed, and members Mika Ihamuotila, Camilla Hed, and Skype founder Niklas Zennström.
