Co-operative Championship One agree promotion criteria for 2012

The RFL can confirm that the Co-operative Rugby League Championship One clubs have agreed their position on promotion at the end of the 2012 season. Following last year’s strategic review into the Co-operative Championships, all 10 Championship One clubs today voted in favour of having the top four promoted at  the end of the 2012 Co-operative Championship One regular season. This will see the top four teams being promoted into the Championship to form an expanded 14 team division in 2013 meaning that there will be no relegation from the competition in 2012 To determine the Champions
