New distributor in Malaysia with focus on GRX

Safe at Sea AB (publ) has signed a distributor agreement with Semenanjung Selatan Sdn Bhd for representation on the Malaysian market.

Semenanjung Selatan has for many years delivered equipment to rescue- and disaster organizations but most of all to military- and special operations units. The company has for many years successfully established itself as a supplier of high-quality equipment and know-how to authorities, organizations and companies. Providing innovative and high quality products, Semenanjung Selatan will market the entire Safe at Sea product portfolio and establish the efficient SAR and CSAR boats on the Malaysian market.

Semenanjung Selatan has identified a big interest for the GuardRunner X-model and they will invest in one (1) GuardRunner X-demo unit for demonstrations and tests with potential customers. Safe at Sea will support with internal training and assist in initial market activities together with Semenanjung Selatan. The GuardRunner X-demo unit has previously been used by Safe at Sea as a demo unit.

"Malaysia is an interesting market and we know that there is a specific interest for tactical CSAR boats with configurations that the GuardRunner X platform offers. The boat will be delivered in Q1 2023.

Order value: approximately SEK 400 000.
