Together with our project partners The Swedish Sea Rescue Society and ETP, Safe at Sea invites the media for a demonstration of the new ElEcoRunner.

After the successful demonstration of the ElEcoRunner PoC on August 26, the ElEcoRunner team will, on a joint initiative, invite to a demonstration of the new, silent ElEcoRunner.

Safe at Sea and The Swedish Sea Rescue Society have collaborated in the development of ElEcoRunner since the project started in 2019. The development of ElEcoRunner was a joint initiative by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society and Safe at Sea, to show how to make Search and Rescue and other important activities on water emission-free and meet the great demand for small emission-free rescue boats. The Swedish Sea Rescue Society is a key partner in the project and assists, among other things with materials, competence support and requirements.

The Swedish Sea Rescue Society, that pioneered the development of light and flexible rescue boats with RescueRunner in 2003, continues to be at the very forefront through the development of ElEcoRunner, where the focus is sustainability through electrification of the powertrain.

The demonstration is planned for the first half of October.

"It is fantastic that we now are ready to show the ElEcoRunner to media, and also great that our closest partner and customer, The Swedish Sea Rescue Society is taking this step together with us and that they now will buy the first ElEcoRunner EZS," says Henrik Hartman, CEO at Safe at Sea AB.
