We are happy to announce that the Swedish Sea Rescue Society (SSRS) strengthens their fleet with two more RescueRunner systems.

It’s a donation by Båtkusten, Imatech Marin & Industri AB's Swedish Volvo Penta dealer network, that enables the order of two new RescueRunner systems.

Båtkusten have during two years worked very hard to save and gather the funding for making this donation possible and it was therefore with great joy the check was handed over to SSRS at the Gothenburg Boat Show last month.

SSRS is the organization with the largest RescueRunner fleet in the world. Today SSRS have more than sixty RescueRunners operational at their 73 rescue stations across Sweden. Some of the RescueRunners have been in service for more than ten years.

SSRS once upon a time back in 2003, were the ones that developed the RescueRunner, to enable their operators / sea rescuers to reach shallow and rocky areas where other boats cannot go.

“It's a fantastic initiative by Båtkusten and Imatech and we are convinced that the boats will be of great benefit within the SSRS operations”, says Henrik Hartman, CEO at Safe at Sea AB (publ).

The RescueRunner will be delivered in Q2 2020.

Order value is SEK 600.000.
