Safello Unveils the Nordics' First Crypto Savings Service – Enabling Recurring Savings in Bitcoin and Ethereum

Stockholm, 5 July 2021 | Swedish fintech Safello today announced the launch of a private beta programme for Safello Subscription, a new service that allows customers to purchase cryptocurrency on a recurring basis. The savings service is the first of its kind in the Nordic region and will enable users to effortlessly set up a savings plan in the market-leading cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ethereum.

– Convenient savings in cryptocurrencies is one of the most requested features among our customers. The advantage for the customer is that they can cost average their investment while Safello benefits from creating a more predictable income stream, said Frank Schuil, CEO and co-founder of Safello.

Much like a monthly savings plan, users can convert part of their income to purchase cryptocurrency automatically, which creates an advantageous purchasing strategy of cost averaging the user’s cryptocurrency portfolio. As part of this, the company has entered into a new partnership agreement and begun the technical integration with an Open Banking platform that enables recurring payments.

Beta invitations will be distributed at a later stage to a selection within the company's official Discord. Safello Subscription is expected to be launched in the second half of 2021.
