Record date for the distribution determined and Amasten Fastighets AB (publ) changes name to Neobo Fastigheter AB (publ)

The board of directors of Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (”SBB”) has resolved to determine the record date for the distribution to 28 December 2022. An extraordinary general meeting of Amasten Fastighets AB (publ) has today resolved to change the company name to Neobo Fastigheter AB (publ) (”Neobo”).

Neobo is a property company with its head office in Stockholm, that long-term manages and refines residential properties throughout Sweden. The property portfolio is diversified across 40 municipalities and consists of 8,369 apartments, across 267 properties with a total property value of SEK 15.8 billion as of 30 September 2022. The total lettable area amounts to 714,000 sqm, with an annual rental value of approximately SEK 900 million.[1]

The Company’s business concept is based on managing and refining residentials in Swedish municipalities with population growth, good employment rate and a stable rental market. Long-term growth in value and cash flow shall be achieved by being an active property owner in locations where people want to live and work. The Company shall be a long-term and reliable landlord for people in Sweden and actively work with sustainability to contribute to the good development of society.

The board of directors of SBB has, in accordance with the authorization of the extraordinary general meeting, determined the record date for the distribution of the shares in Neobo to 28 December 2022. Last day of trading in SBB’s B shares including the right to receive shares in Neobo will be 23 December 2022. As of 27 December 2022, SBB’s B shares will be traded without right to receive shares in Neobo. The intention is that a listing of Neobo’s shares will take place in February 2023. Other than being registered as Class A or Class B shareholder of SBB on the record date for the distribution, shareholders are not required to take any action to receive shares in Neobo.
