Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget has successfully issued SEK 400 million of hybrid bonds

Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (”Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget”) announced on 22 September 2017 a hybrid bond issue with perpetual maturity within a framework amount of up to SEK 1,000 million. The initial issue size was SEK 400 million with a floating rate coupon of STIBOR + 7.0% margin up to the first call date 5.5 years from the issue date.  

”This issue, and especially the oversubscribed book, shows that the institutional investors continue to show a strong support for the company and our strategy. Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget issues as the second real estate company in the Nordics on documentation that, from a rating perspective, is expected to strengthen the equity position corresponding to half of the issued amount. This further strengthens our financial position towards our target of acquiring an Investment Grade rating before the end of 2018.” says Ilija Batljan, CEO and founder of Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.
