SBB awarded EPRA Silver level certificate for its sustainability reporting
Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (“SBB”) has been awarded Silver Level Compliance in accordance with the EPRA Sustainability Best Practices Recommendations (sBPR), one of the most recognised sustainability reporting standards in the European real estate sector. This award is proof of SBB's strong commitment to sustainable development and transparency in its sustainability efforts.
The European Property Regulatory Association (EPRA) is a leading industry organisation working to raise the standards of sustainability reporting for listed property companies in Europe.
EPRA's BPR framework is specifically designed to support companies in clearly and consistently disclosing their sustainability performance, which is increasingly important for investors and other stakeholders.
“We are very proud to have achieved the Silver level of compliance with EPRA's sustainability recommendations. This award is a testament to our determined efforts to integrate sustainability throughout our business. We see this as an important step forward, and we will continue to strive for improvements and further develop our sustainability goals to contribute to a long-term and sustainable property market.” Says Martin Nåtby, Head of Sustainability at SBB.
SBB's sustainability strategy is based on creating long-term value for both society and shareholders by investing in socially beneficial properties, reducing carbon dioxide emissions and optimising resource use.
