Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”), via its subsidiary Hemfosa Fastigheter AB, develops another police station. The Police Authority’s property management division has commissioned SBB to build a police station in Sälen, Sweden, totalling 3,500 sq m.

The Police Authority has developed a strategy for the development of its operations until 2024. Strategy 2024 includes, amongst others, a new vision, an updated operations idea and revised targets for the Police Authority. To be able to implement Strategy 2024, the Police Authority’s premises need to be expanded and developed.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we commence the project to cater for a new police station in Sälen, Sweden. In close cooperation with the Police Authority, we will create a modern police station that meets the requirements of Strategy 2024," says Krister Karlsson, Deputy CEO, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.

The new police station will be built centrally in Sälen and, based on its location and design, is deemed to be able to meet the needs of the Police Authority.

The police station is planned to be completed during the fourth quarter 2023. The lease for the new police station is expected to be signed during the third quarter 2020. The term of the lease is 15 years, commencing in 2023.
