SBB divests three project properties in Sweden and an office property in Norway for approximately SEK 860 million
Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”) is selling three project properties for community services in Sweden to Hemsö, whereby Hemsö will take over responsibility for financing the projects and an office property in Norway with partly public tenants that is sold to local investors.
”SBB is divesting project properties that are not included in SBB's earnings capacity and is streamlining the portfolio by selling non-core holdings of office properties, which strengthens SBB's balance sheet and reduces future investment needs. It also feels very good that Hemsö is the buyer of the projects, which ensures long-term and good relations with the tenants”, says Oscar Lekander, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.
Final property value is determined in connection with the completion of the projects.
The deals have been unconditionally signed by 30 June 2022 and the closings will take place in the third quarter 2022.
