Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (publ) (“SBB”) has entered into a binding agreement to sell the property Göteborg Gamlestaden 2:8 for SEK 450m to a newly formed joint venture together with Aspelin Ramm. The property comprises approximately 21,000 sqm as well as additional building rights.

“We believe a lot in Gamlestaden in Gothenburg, where we are a major player and where we have recently built a new building for SOS Alarm on the neighboring property. Through this collaboration with the locally strong developer Aspelin Ramm, we are convinced that we will develop the property into one of Gothenburg's most attractive green buildings. The sale shows the great attractiveness and potential that exists in SBB's building rights portfolio,” says Krister Karlsson, Deputy CEO and responsible for Projects and Property Development, Samhällsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB.

Manne Aronsson, CEO of Aspelin Ramm Fastigheter, is looking forward to starting the collaboration with SBB, which has grown to become one of the Nordic region's largest real estate companies.

“We complement each other very well in this project, where we can work together to transform one of the city's coolest and most well-known properties into something completely new. I am convinced that Gamlestaden will be one of the city's most attractive places to work and live in when all parts are in place," comments Manne Aronsson, CEO, Aspelin Ramm Fastigheter.
