Futurice strengthens Nordic presence with unified leadership team

HELSINKI, Finland (January 13, 2025) – Futurice is taking bold steps to strengthen its presence in the Nordic market by aligning operations under a unified Nordic Leadership Team, effective January 1, 2025. This move is part of Futurice’s strategy to enhance regional collaboration, deliver innovative digital solutions, and create greater impact for clients across the Nordics.
The newly formed Nordic Leadership Team unites experienced leaders and fresh talent from within and outside the company, including Katja Metsola, Joonas Korpela, Anna-Mari Fagerström, Sanna Haapaniemi, and Eeva Raita. A new addition to Futurice and the team is Patrick Kuster, who brings a wealth of business development expertise from Thoughtworks and Thomson Reuters. By integrating expertise from Helsinki, Tampere, and Stockholm – and leveraging Futurice’s talent network across Europe – the team is well-positioned to drive transformation and business growth in the region.

As part of this transition, Futurice announces the departure of Osmo Haapaniemi, Managing Director for Finland since 2023. Osmo’s leadership has been instrumental in driving growth and building strong client relationships.

Futurice is also launching an internal and external search for a Managing Director for the Nordic region to further bolster its leadership capacity.
