UAE and Finland-based eProcurement provider Cloudia selected as supplier of procurement lifecycle services for Finnish national and local government
Offer worth 12 million USD positions Cloudia as the main provider of digital procurement and contract management solutions for all branches of central and local government in Finland.
Cloudia, a leading provider of digital procurement solutions, has been selected as the supplier of procurement lifecycle services for the Finnish government procurement unit Hansel Ltd. after a successful competitive bidding process. Cloudia was selected as the supplier for the second time in a row in a deal set to run until 2025 with a comparison value in the single supplier framework agreement that exceeded 12 million USD.
“This is the result of a lot of hard work and determination over a long period of time, and it clearly demonstrates that we have exceeded in every field, from product development to customer relationship management,” notes Joonas Jantunen, CEO of Cloudia Middle East and Africa operations. “Winning the bid is of great importance to us as a company.”
Hansel Ltd. put out the tender for procurement lifecycle services during the summer of 2019. The groundwork for the process was performed in cooperation with the customers of KL-Kuntahankinnat Ltd. and is based on their specific needs.
“Our customers were delighted with the news that Hansel renewed the agreement with Cloudia. Feedback from our customers suggests that Cloudia was their number one choice as a service provider, and we have already received congratulations from many of them,” continues Jantunen.
The system that will be acquired is divided into modules that support the different phases of the procurement process, including planning and preparation, tendering, contract management and supplier management. The aim of the procurement system is not only to provide a solution for the publication of calls for tender or tender notices that comply with the Public Procurement Act, but to also develop processes and working methods with contracting entities. Additionally, it supports the further development of cooperation between different contracting entities, tenderers and suppliers.
The decision to renew the agreement confirms Cloudia’s status as the market leader in Finland for providing and developing first-class procurement solutions. “We are very pleased with this decision as it clearly demonstrates our solutions meet the needs of the modern market,” Jantunen states.
