    More possibilities with SAPA’s new façade TENTAL

    We are launching a new aluminium façade system that creates more opportunities, with a smaller carbon footprint. The launch will take place in several stages during 2024, and the various stages will include, among other things, prefabrication and also increased performance for fire. We use Hydro CIRCAL 75R as standard in all our systems, which reduces climate impact without compromising on quality.     SYSTEMS SAPA ACHIEVES EVEN LOWER CARBON FOOTPRINT FOR ITS ALUMINIUM BUILDING SYSTEMS

    Driving decarbonisation forward yet again, SAPA part of Hydro, has reached a new milestone for its recycled, end-of-life aluminium Hydro CIRCAL 75R, which now carries a carbon footprint of only 1.9 kg of CO2e/kg of aluminium – 70% less compared to the European average.Originally launched in 2019, Hydro CIRCAL 75R is a prime quality recycled aluminium, made with a minimum of 75% recycled post-consumer scrap. When guaranteeing more than 75 % recycled content, SAPA exclusively refers to aluminium that has reached its end-of-life as a product-in-use and is brought back into the loop.

    In 2018, Slottsholmen in Västervik was acquired by Björn Ulvaeus, and a new investment for the building began.     The brief was to transform the former supermarket into a modern and welcoming shopping centre that would bring vibrancy to the quarter and the town as a whole.     “New” Olav Kyrres Gate 22 symbolizes a new age

    When Olav Kyrres Gate 22 was in need of renovation there was a clear desire to do this sympathetically. Some parts of the building had to be preserved, while new elements such as a glazed facade would enhance the project. The result was a more open and welcoming space that also reflects a lot of history. Sapa supplied the glazed roof and facade for the project through the fabricator, Time Aluminium AS. Bergen, or “The Heart of the Fjords” as the city is also known, is the second-largest city in Norway. Despite this, many people describe the city as having the charm of a small town.
