Competition Authority at SAS Braathens

Competition Authority at SAS Braathens SAS Braathens' offices at Fornebu, in Bærum, received a visit by a delegation from the Norwegian Competition Authority this morning. The matter is related to the airline's pricing strategy in the Norwegian market and an assessment on the issue of abuse of its dominant position. The Competition Authority points out that the use of such measures to secure evidence does not mean that SAS Braathens' actions are in contravention of competition regulations and is not a representation the results of the investigation. To date this year, the Authority has made several such visits to Norwegian companies.
