Monthly Traffic and Capacity Data - January 2001

January in brief Passenger traffic (RPK) was up 9,3% in January. Overall capacity (ASK) was up 5,3% and passenger load factor increased by 2.1 p.u. Traffic in Business Class increased by 18,9%. It should be noted that January 2000 was affected by weak traffic development due to the "Millenium effect". Even so, the development is promising in particular on Intercontinental, European and Swedish domestic routes. · Total passenger traffic (RPK) increased by 9,3% in January 2001 vs. 1999. · The number of passengers increased by 7,8%. · Business Class traffic was up 18,2% and Economy Class was up 5,6%.
