New issue completed - the number of shares in SAS AB is now 164,5 million shares As communicated on April 12, 2002 the Board of Directors of SAS AB on April 11, 2002 decided to issue 2,683,604 new shares in SAS AB. [REMOVED GRAPHICS] Through the new issue --which is the final step in the introduction of a single share in SAS --SAS AB has obtained approximately SEK 200 million and has also been registered at the Swedish authority Patent- och registreringsverket on April 18, 2002. [REMOVED GRAPHICS] As a result, the shareholders equity in SAS AB now is SEK 1,645 million and the total number of shares is 164 500 000 shares.
