Norwegian Competition Authorities will say no to SAS' acquisition of Braathens ASA SAS has today received a notice from the Norwegian Competition Authorities stating that the authorities will say no to SAS' acquisition of Braathens ASA. The authorities prime argument is that it has not been made clear enough that Braathens is a failing firm. If, after the negotiations disagreement still exist in this matter, SAS will appeal the decision from the authorities.
