SAS announces special prices for children and adults this summer On June 17, SAS will commence a summer campaign with special prices for flights to 111 destinations in 28 European countries. As of the same date, children between 2 and 17 years of age will be able to travel within Sweden for only SEK 200. Summer vacation in Europe - choose between 111 cities. Jointly with 11 other airlines, SAS will offer advantageous air travel to 111 different European cities this summer. "This reflects a considerable increase compared with the 79 destinations offered in 1998. The special prices are intended for travelers who would like to visit just one city, as distinct from those who would perhaps prefer a travel-pass ticket from SAS," comments Ann-Marie Severin, manager revenue analysis for SAS Europe. Travelers can book their trips during the period May 5 to June 31. The trips can be made between June 17 and August 13. To qualify for the special prices, travelers may be away for a maximum of one month and must include one overnight stay between either Friday and Saturday, or Saturday and Sunday. PRICE EXAMPLES Malmö-London Heathrow: SEK 1,688 roundtrip Norrköping-Paris: SEK 2,572 roundtrip Gothenburg-Amsterdam: SEK 2,016 roundtrip Stockholm-Dublin: SEK 2,375 roundtrip All prices include taxes and fees. Special prices within Sweden for children - SEK 200 return flight As of June 17, it will also be a little less expensive for vacationing children to travel within Sweden. Children aged between 2 and 17 will then be able to fly on a roundtrip ticket to all Swedish domestic destinations for just SEK 200. This offer applies to flights to and from Stockholm and in the company of at least one parent.
