SAS Cargo and DHL start joint service

SAS CARGO AND DHL START JOINT SERVICE SAS Cargo and DHL Worldwide Express are to share the capacity of an Antonov 26 freighter aircraft which will operate between Copenhagen and the Baltic states. An agreement to that effect has been concluded between the two companies. The aircraft has been chartered by DHL, and SAS Cargo will utilize 50 per cent of its capacity. With a cargo capacity of 4.5 tons the Antonov 26 will initially operate five times a week between Copenhagen and Riga, to be expanded later in the spring to also include Vilnius. The new cargo service will commence on April 14.
