SAS flights between Europe and the US from 14 March

The US government implements restrictions for all air traffic between Europe and the United States as from 14 March 2020 and 30 days ahead. This will have effect on SAS flights to/from the US. SAS will operate according to normal schedule 12 March and 13 March 2020. From 14 March 2020 SAS will continue to operate with reduced schedule between Copenhagen and Chicago and New York and between Stockholm and New York.

Flights between Copenhagen and San Francisco will be operated according to schedule until 17 March 2020.

SAS operations to other US destinations will be suspended from 14 March 2020 until 28 March 2020.

The process of canceling flights to/from the US will be performed over a period of time (2-3 days) starting 13 March 2020. This is due to system limitations as all carriers operating between Europe and the US cancel their flights at the same time.

Affected passengers will be notified via email and/or SMS.

SAS urge our passengers
reviewing the latest entry requirements  before leaving for the airport, even if you’re a citizen or resident of the destination – or if it’s just for a transfer and connecting flight.
