SAS Monthly Traffic Data - May 1999

May in brief Passenger traffic (RPK) showed an overall increase of 15,5% in May 1999 v s. May 1998. Overall capacity (ASK) increased by 19% and passenger load factor fell by 2.1 p.u. Approximately 15% of capacity increase is explained by last year's general labor conflict in Denmark the first seven days of May 1998. Taking last years disruptions into consideration, passenger mix continued to develop negatively.
