SAS Plus for less on Scandinavian routes
SAS Plus Saver is launching on domestic and inter-Scandinavian routes – for travelers who want all the benefits of SAS Plus, but don’t need the flexibility. At the same time, SAS Plus Saver is being made permanently available on all European routes.
SAS is continuously developing and improving its range for Scandinavia’s frequent travelers and is now offering a supplement to its existing SAS Go and SAS Plus products on selected domestic and inter-Scandinavian routes.
For those travelers who like all the benefits of traveling SAS Plus, such as access to the Lounge and Fast Track, SAS Plus Saver is a lower-priced option that offers all the features except free rebooking/cancellation.
“We have had great success with SAS Plus Saver on our intercontinental and European routes,” says Stephanie Smitt Lindberg, VP Customer Journey & Loyalty at SAS. “So we are pleased that we can now introduce this ticket offer on routes within Scandinavia too. This new offer gives our customers even more opportunity to choose the product that is right for them.”
All the benefits of SAS Plus are included, with the exception of free cancellation and rebooking. This means travelers have access to SAS Lounges, Fast Track, extra baggage and the ability to choose their own seat, as well as food and drink on board.
The new offer will be launched on domestic and inter-Scandinavian routes, initially on a trial basis until 31 March 2017, on the following selected routes: Stockholm-Malmö, Stockholm-Åre Östersund, Gothenburg-Luleå, Oslo-Haugesund, Oslo-Billund, Copenhagen-Oslo, Copenhagen-Bergen. SAS Plus Saver is already available on intercontinental routes and is also being made into a permanent offer on European routes.
SAS Plus Saver passengers earn the same number of EuroBonus points as customers traveling in SAS Plus.
Rebooking and refunds are available with SAS Plus Saver for a fee of SEK/DKK/NOK 600 or EUR 65.
