SAS-Spanair The EU Commision has by a decision of March 5, 2002 approved SAS increased shareholding in Spanair S.A. from 49% to 74%. The decision clears the transaction, which now may be closed and completed. Gunnar Reitan Executive Vice president & CFO of the SAS group says: " Spanair has a competitive cost position and with this as a platform we will now focus on streamlining network and enchance revenues.
