SAS takes delivery of first Airbus A321-200

SAS takes delivery of first Airbus A321-200 at Copenhagen Airport Today, November 12, with an estimated time of arrival at 7:00 p.m., SAS' first Airbus A321-200 will land at Copenhagen Airport. The aircraft is being delivered from Airbus in Hamburg. The A321-200 is SAS' new large aircraft for traffic within Scandinavia and Europe. A total of twelve A321-200s are on order. The Airbus A321-200 represents a new, larger size class in the SAS fleet. It is an aircraft type that is needed in the traffic system. The A321-200 will support intercontinental traffic by strengthening the route network within Scandinavia and Europe. With more seats per departure, capacity will increase, while unit costs are reduced.
