SAS Trading expands

SAS Trading expands During the last two weeks SAS Trading has extended its business further by acquisition of two new companies. th On March 29 SAS Trading added to its operation in Riga, when the acquisition of SIMMS DF was closed, including a 5-year contract for shops with a floor area of 232 resp. 41 sq. and license to sell duty paid, tax free goods, fashion and accessories. Estimated turnover will be approximately 24 MSEK/year. A competitive operator, BTV, is already established at the airport offering a similar range of products. Other shops are also operated in the recently expanded terminal. Our own existing Euroshop facility in the present gate area will be closed within a year. Riga Airport Authority is informed about the take over and our new shop th will open during the weekend of April 8-9 . st As of April 1 SAS Trading acquired and immediately took over operation of "Landvetter Parfym" from the American owner Cendant. The shop, including 30 employees and a running contract to the year 2002, has an estimated turnover of approximately 80 MSEK/year. Before converting to an Euroshop unit by the end of this summer some adjustments have to be made. SAS Trading is also operating a tax-free shop and a shop offering fashion, toys and electronics at Landvetter. Landvetter Airport Authority has been informed during the whole process.
