SAS welcomes Government initiative Today, November 22, the Swedish Government decided to make a proposition to the Swedish Parliament about a continued Government guarantee to January 31st for third party liability caused by war and terrorist attacks. Similar decisions have already been made in Denmark and Norway. - SAS values the initiative by the Swedish Government, Hans Ollongren says, who is head of Government Relations at SAS. It is positive that SAS gets the same competitive conditions in this area as the other European airlines. New and uncertain insurance market The international insurance market has not stabilized since the terrorist attacks in the USA on November 11th. - There are not yet any reasonable insurance-alternatives to get on the market, Hans Ollongren says.
