Scandi Standard (SCST SS) – comment on Kronfågel’s operations in Sweden

Report this content

Scandi Standard’s Swedish subsidiary Kronfågel has experienced certain deviations in connection with  the slaughter and processing of chicken, which has been acknowledged by Swedish media. Scandi Standard’s management is working actively to fulfil the company’s high demands on animal health and food safety standards.

– Both Kronfågel and Scandi Standard are taking this very seriously, and are implementing powerful measures to restore confidence for the process around how we treat our chicken, says Leif Bergvall Hansen, CEO of Scandi Standard.

Scandi Standard is working in close cooperation with authorities and industry representatives to investigate deviations, analyse the factors behind them and make sure the relevant actions are in place.
