    Scania adds Norway to its gas bus market

    Scania has delivered 36 gas-powered buses to passenger transport company Nobina in Norway. This marks a Scania break-through for gas buses in Norway.Norway is the newest market to which Scania delivers gas buses. Recently, public transport companies in Colombia and Indonesia have also taken deliveries of Scania gas buses. The new Scania OmniExpress 3.20 LE Euro 6 buses are replacing older buses operating in the Ski area, southeast of Oslo.     The Austrian public procurement organisation Bundesbeschaffungs GmbH (BBG) and Scania Österreich have signed an agreement for the delivery of up to 485 Scania Euro 6 trucks over the next three years.     Scania adds 13-litre biodiesel engines to its Euro 6 range

    Scania is introducing two Euro 6-certified, 13-litre truck engines that can run on any diesel blend, right up to 100 percent biodiesel (EN 14214).     Scania secures Australia’s first Euro 6 bus fleet order

    The government of the Australian Capital Territory has selected Scania to supply a fleet of 77 Euro 6 city buses. Australian Capital Territory Internal Omnibus Network (ACTION), is the first Australian bus fleet operator to adopt Euro 6 technology.“ACTION has decided to take the lead in the introduction of Euro 6 emission technology to bus fleets in Australia,” says Trevor O’Brien, National Bus Manager, Scania Australia. “The Australian Federal Government is yet to announce a date for the introduction of Euro 6 emission standards, underlining the progressive action of the ACT operator.”
