Acuvi receives order from Nikon as start of cooperation between the companies

In April 2023 Acuvi’s Finnish subsidiary Sensapex announced a cooperation and distribution agreement with Nikon US. Nikon has now placed the opening order for a complete microscope workstation for cell measurement and imaging applications. The workstation will be used for product launch and customer demonstration purposes. This supports already active grass-root level sales and marketing activities. Nikon is also planning to integrate control of Sensapex products in their microscope software suite during the second half of the year, which will further improve competitiveness of the joint offering.

“The cooperation with Nikon US moving forward as planned. We see a big potential working with one of the main players in specialized microscope systems. Estimated market size only in the US for this market is approx. 30 MUSD. First customer orders from the co-operation are expected during second half of 2023.” says Mikko Vähäsöyrinki, VP of Acuvi’s Life Science Instrumentation business unit.
