largest Swedish donation

The Swedish Government, through the Ministry for Foreign Affairs,
today contributed SEK 400 million to children in Gaza via UNICEF.

Akelius expresses deep gratitude to the Government for this initiative.
Akelius doubles the contribution and donates SEK 800 million to the same cause.

A school for 250 children, teachers and food for five years costs a few million SEK,
depending on whether tents or permanent buildings are used.

Akelius funds 400 schools.

UNICEF provides innocent and wounded children with food, safety, companionship, play, and schools.

The previous largest Swedish humanitarian donation was also from Akelius,
SEK 700 million to Ukraine.
