Baker & McKenzie prisas för sitt arbete med exportkontroll och sanktioner
Winner of Sanctions Law Firm of the Year (Europe), Export Controls Law Firm of the Year (Europe) and highly commended in Export Controls Law firm of the Year (USA and Rest of the World)
Leading Global law firm Baker & McKenzie won four major accolades at the 2016 WorldECR Awards, as announced in the WorldECR Journal’s 51st issue.
The awards, now in their second year, recognize outstanding work, vision, best practice, commercial benefit to the company, and contribution to international security, of organizations and individuals working in the fields of export control, sanctions compliance and non-proliferation.
Award wins for Baker & McKenzie included the highly coveted Sanctions Law Firm of the Year (Europe), particularly in recognition for the Firm's Iran Trade Roadshow, a series of seminars across EMEA, rolled out in the weeks following Implementation Day of the JCPOA. With a team of more than 20 experts presenting in 20 offices in 14 countries to 800+ representatives of 400 companies, Baker & McKenzie made themselves available to clients for one-to-one discussions on the changing nature of Iran business and controls.
Accepting this award, Baker & McKenzie partner Sunny Mann, who was a joint-lead on the Iran's Trade Roadshow Program said, "I am really pleased that we have been recognized as one of the leading firms in Europe for our expertise on sanctions. The global firm also won the Export Controls Law Firm if the Year, Europe Award, being described by the panel of judges as, "A very busy team, providing the full range of export compliance related legal services.
