Bisnode receives grant from Vinnova for collaboration with startups in order to exploit the potential of open innovation
Stockholm, June 14, 2017. Bisnode today announced that the company receives 1,57 million SEK from Swedish Government Agency for Innovation, Vinnova, to encourage new collaborations between Bisnode and startups, as well as enabling a foundation for new companies to grow.
Bisnode receives the grant from Vinnova’s 2017 call to continue the work Bisnode is doing with driving innovations, with help of Data and Analytics. This will enable Bisnode to start specific innovation projects for small and medium sized business until summer of 2018, in collaboration with the Swedish startup companies; Tölve, Boardeaser and Ifrågasätt Media.

We are constantly developing new ways for our customers to access the decision-making data they need. Startups have new exciting technology and interesting business models. In collaboration, we can create new innovations to the market”, says Joachim Karlsson, Director of Innovation at Bisnode.

Within the framework of the grand, Bisnode will together with VentureLab, an organization at Lund University encouraging entrepreneurship and helping students realize their innovative ideas, will arrange a Hackathon at the end of 2017. Other projects selected for financing within this call, is a “Data accelerator” that Bisnode are planning on launching in the beginning of 2018. The grant amounting to half of the eligible project costs (over 3 million SEK).
