Citi Appoints Erik Savola as new Nordic and Swedish Head
Citi announces the appointment of Erik Savola as Nordic Cluster Head and Citi Country Head for Sweden. Erik also assumes the Nordic BCMA (Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory) Co-Head role together with Lars Ingemarsson and he will lead the Nordic Corporate Banking business.
Erik Savola was most recently Co-Head of EMEA BCMA Industrials, serving as the senior banker covering some of Citi’s largest and most complex industrial clients. Erik will now relocate to Sweden to lead the Nordic Cluster.
Erik joined Citi in 2002. He is a Business Senior Credit Officer and has held several risk management roles in New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has also served as a corporate banker covering Citi’s global relationships in the Consumer and Leisure sectors. Erik succeeds Alexander Stiris who was recently promoted to become Citi’s EMEA Head of Commercial Banking.
