Citi Best Investment Bank in Sweden

Citi is named Best Investment Bank in Sweden by Euromoney, the global financial markets magazine, at its annual Awards for Excellence today.

The jury’s motivation highlights that Citi, among international investment banks, is "unusually present across Scandinavia and the strength of its Nordic business was particularly evident in Sweden this year", mentioning Citi M&A, equity capital markets and key bond deals in Sweden during the awards period.

“Sweden is a very important market for Citi. We have had a local presence in the country for 45 years and we continue to systematically invest in our franchise. We are pleased that our leading market position and strong momentum in Swedish and Nordic investment banking has been recognized through this prestigious award,” says Lars Ingemarsson and Alexander Stiris, co-heads of Nordic Banking, Capital Markets and Advisory (BCMA) at Citi.
