Stockholm, 26 May 2025 - DNB Carnegie Holding AB (“DNB Carnegie”) has entered into a binding agreement to sell 100% of the shares in Holberg Fondsforvaltning AS (“Holberg”) to Kistefos AS (“Kistefos”). This decision follows DNB’s acquisition of Carnegie Holding AB and the subsequently initiated strategic review to determine the best long-term ownership for Holberg.

“We carefully evaluated several strategic alternatives, including the sale of the company to a new owner that will be a long-term committed partner for Holberg, to ensure the best outcome for its clients, employees, and future development.” said Tony Elofsson, CEO of DNB Carnegie Holding.

“The agreement with Kistefos reflects this ambition. We are confident that the new owner will work closely with the organization and its clients to further strengthen Holberg and support its long-term growth.”

Magny Øvrebø, CEO of Holberg, added:

“We believe Kistefos will be a strong and committed partner for Holberg. Their experience and long-term perspective align well with our promise to clients and strategic direction. Together, we will continue to deliver exceptional services to our clients, while also exploring new opportunities for further development and growth.”
