GLAZED ICE - IZIPIZI SS21
For the Spring-Summer 2021 season, the Glazed Ice collection invites us to roam through nature and its wonderful landscapes, in search of water to cool down.
This collection pays homage to the power of nature and the beauty of the transformations therein.
With the return of sunny days, Glazed Ice represents the changing nature of minerals – water, glass, roch, crystal – by illustrating their slow and gentle journey from solid to liquid…
Just like an ice cube melting in the sun which changes its appearance, the surface of the products is shiny and reflective as if it were covered with water: frames and lenses.
The inside of the glasses is made opaque thanks to a soft touch effect, like a sorbet-filles lemon. To reinforce the illustration of changeability and the liquid imagery, the hinges have been recreated with rounder, water drop shape.
