ISPO 2019, Munich - DÆHLIE Sportswear award-winning in two categories
At this year´s ISPO, the biggest sports equipment fair in the world, DÆHLIE Sportswear is going to present two of its new products. The Supreme Jacket and the Winter Run Jacket have both been awarded by the ISPO committee in their respective categories - ”Snowsport Apparel” and ”Health and Fitness Apparel.” DÆHLIE Sportswear is recognized for not only their design, but also the brand´s sustainability commitments, innovation and technology.
The Supreme Jacket - Wool in a totally new way
With its expertise in performance ski wear and its close partnership with the Norwegian Cross Country ski team, DÆHLIE Sportswear has produced the 2nd generation of the Supreme Jacket - a revolutionizing innovation.The garment´s wool works both as a heat-conserving and breathable material, and the insulation in the softshell ensures optimal body temperature for high intensity training. Its the new air pocket weave construcion engineered in the wool that assures the optimal heat. The jacket´s sleaves are also made to give maximum flexibility.
”Supreme Jacket handles the fluctuations in temperature during a training session. It is warm and breathable at the same time. Supreme is at its very best during long-distance skiing in hilly terrain in cold temperatures,” Norwegian skiing champion Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen says.
The Winter Run Jacket - Light, but still protective
The Winter Run jacket was designed for the soul purpose of making the lightest jacket possible, for flexibility and motion depends on just that. That is why DÆHLIE Sportswear has used Primaloft Aerogel® in the padding of the jacket. Primaloft Aerogel is a biodegradable, flexible and waterproof fiber. DÆHLIE Sportswear has specially engineered this fiber to be the lightest possible, while still providing warmth to the runner on cold days. The jacket is also breathable with is ventilation functions.To ensure maximum safety, reflective areas are featured on the jacket for running on the darker days of winter.
Both the Supreme Jacket and the Winter Run Jacket are very good examples of the innovation and technlogy that DÆHLIE Sportswear wants to give the skiing community, and now also the running community, all over the world.
