ETF Securities utser James Butterfill till Chef för Analys & Investeringsstrategi
London, 5 oktober 2015: ETF Securities, en av världens ledande oberoende leverantörer av börshandlade produkter (ETPer), har anställt James Butterfill som Chef för Analys & Investeringsstrategi. Tjänsten är baserad i London och James kommer att rapportera till ETF Securities VD Mark Weeks.
James kommer i sin nya roll att leda den strategiska inriktningen för det globala analysteamet och säkerställa att klienter får aktuella expertanalyser inom global makroekonomi och av utvecklingen inom specifika tillgångsklasser. Han kommer dessutom att hjälpa till i utbildningen av investerare om ETPer, råvaror, valutor, räntor och aktiemarknader för att ytterligare stärka ETF Securities position som en ledare och innovatör i den globala ETP-industrin.
Innan han började på ETF Securities var James bland annat på HSBC men kommer närmast från Coutts där han arbetade som Multi-Asset Fund Manager och Global Equity Strategist. På Coutts förvaltade James en diskretionär fond i fond med 8,8 miljarder pund i förvaltat kapital. Han var central i utvecklandet av företagets investeringsprocess och investeringsfilosofi. James var även involverad i utvecklingen av företagets analyserbjudande genom att tillhandahålla djupgående marknadskommentarer och marknadsanalyser inom flertalet tillgångsklasser.
