The Funcom-stock most likely reacted negatively on the news that the "Conan single-player" game was put on hold. Funcom has a strong position in the space of online multiplayer games. With Conan Exiles, Funcom has proven the company can manage these kinds of games well, relaying on a “Games as a Service” model. With a continued cost-efficiency Funcom can now instead prioritize on the cash-cow Conan Exiles. We also believe the decision to put "Conan single-player" on hold is a consequence of an earlier than planned release of “the next big thing” namely "Dune Open World". The decision has strengthened our conviction in management.
