Global Gaming 555 AB: Spelinspektionen har meddelat beslut att dra in licenser - Beslutet kommer att överklagas (English version follows)
Global Gaming 555 AB:s dotterbolag SafeEnt Ltd, vilket driver internetkasinot Ninja Casino, förlorar sina svenska licenser för kommersiellt onlinespel samt vadhållning. Beslutet som delgivits bolaget idag på morgonen gäller omedelbart och Bolaget har därför för tillfället upphört med att erbjuda sina produkter i Sverige.
SafeEnt Ltd har under en tid haft en dialog med spelinspektionen kring de brister som tidigare har funnits i verksamheten och är av uppfattningen att de åtgärder som vidtagits säkerställt att verksamheten bedrivs på ett korrekt vis. Spelinspektionens beslut kommer därför att överklagas omedelbart.
- Morgonens besked från Spelinspektionen kom oväntat eftersom bolaget är av uppfattningen att vi efterlever de krav som den nya lagstiftningen ställer på spelbolag i Sverige. Att de nu kommer med detta beslut är för mig märkligt, säger Tobias Fagerlund, tf VD på Global Gaming 555 AB.
Det är Bolaget och bolagets legala rådgivares uppfattning att samtliga krav för att inneha en licens nu efterlevs till fullo. Bolagets jurister är av den bestämda uppfattningen att Spelinspektionens beslut saknar stöd i spellagen och därför kommer beslutet nu att överklagas.
- Självklart kommer vi att överklaga beslutet och vi har goda skäl att tro att vi kommer ha framgång i ett överklagande. Att licensen nu återkallas saknar lagstöd och utgör en oproportionerligt ingripande åtgärd som åsamkar bolaget stor skada, säger Tobias Fagerlund.

Global Gaming 555 AB – Swedish Gaming Authority has informed the decision to revoke the licenses – The decision will be appealed
Global Gaming 555 ABs subsidiary SafeEnt Ltd, which runs the internet casino Ninja Casino, losses its Swedish license for commercial online gambling and betting. The decision which has been communicated to us this morning has immediate effect and the Company has therefore for the time being discontinued with offering its products in Sweden.
SafeEnt Ltd has under a period had a dialogue with the Swedish Gaming Authority concerning the shortcomings in the operation and are under the impression that the actions taken has secured that the operation is running correctly. The Gaming Authority’s decision will therefore appeal immediately.
- The information this morning from the Gaming Authority came unexpected due to that the company is under the impression that we comply with the regulations which the new legislation has set on gaming operators in Sweden. That they come with this decision is odd, says Tobias Fagerlund, acting CEO at Global Gaming 555 AB.
It is the Company’s and the legal advisors impression that all demands to hold a license are complied with. The company’s legal team is under the firm impression that the Gaming Authority’s decision lacks support in the Gaming Law and therefore the decision will be appealed.
- We will of course appeal the decision and have good reasons to believe that we will have success in an appeal. That the license now have been revoked lacks legal support and compose an unproportional action which will cause the company significant damage, says Tobias Fagerlund.
